Our Family Works Hard for Your Family

Chiasson Smoke began in 2018, but the story really started long before that.

My husband Jason has been welding for years, and it is one of his many passions. He always found a reason to do it, whether he was fixing farm equipment, building a smoker, or making his very first pair of cowboy spurs back in 2008. When Jason started building those spurs out of a ranch shop in Montana, my own interest in CNC plasma cutting was born. We bought a 2x2 Torchmate plasma table to help with the spur making process. It was a real learning experience for me, but it was something I came to love.

Life took us in a new direction and we both left Montana. We moved to Louisiana, where Jason was born and raised, and he went to work as a mechanic at a natural gas company. After six years there, an opportunity came up to move to my family farm in Wisconsin. That move in 2018 gave us the chance to finally start something of our own, and with our shared passion for metalwork and welding, Chiasson Smoke was born.

Since then we have grown slowly and steadily, always adding products, tools, and services along the way. One of our first big steps was upgrading from that little 2x2 table to a 5x10 plasma table, which changed the game for what we could build.

Then came the moment that shaped our future. At the end of 2024 we brought in our first plate and tube laser. It completely changed the way we manufactured and opened the door to faster, cleaner, and more precise work than ever before.

In 2025 we took our biggest leap yet. We purchased a 22,600 square foot warehouse in Boscobel, Wisconsin. We got it set up with the power we needed and added two CNC press brakes that changed the way we form and build our products, along with a 6 kw laser table. Each new machine has helped us refine our process and deliver better products to you.

That same year we also launched our podcast, Beyond the Product, where we share the stories behind our business, our family, and the work we love.
