⚠️ Warning: Potential Pinch Hazard When Collapsed
When the Hauler Grill is in its collapsed (packed) position, please use caution when setting it straight down on a hard surface. The center grate may shift upward into the handle area, potentially creating a pinch point.
To avoid injury:
Set the packed grill down gently
Keep hands and fingers clear of the handle area during placement
Always inspect and secure the grate position before lifting or moving and make sure the bolts and wing-nuts are tight
Your safety matters. Stay aware—and keep those fingers safe.
How to season your Hauler Grill:
Before your first cook, we recommend seasoning your grill and griddle. Seasoning helps protect the carbon steel and creates a better cooking surface over time.
Wash with mild soap and water, then dry thoroughly.
Apply a thin, even layer of cooking oil to all surfaces.
Place in an oven at 450°F for one hour.
Turn off the oven and allow everything to cool.
Repeat the oiling and heating process 2 to 3 times for the best results.
After each use, clean off any food or debris and apply a light coat of oil before storing.
Just like cast iron, your Hauler will continue to build up a better seasoned surface the more you cook with it.
Tip: Keep your Chiasson Smoke Conditioner & Seasoning on hand for an easy way to wipe down and protect your grill after cooking.
