Thank you for your purchase of your rocket stove grill top attachment. We recommend treating your grill top like a cast iron pan, oiling it every now and then to prevent rust.

Do not paint your grill top, even with high heat paint. The paint will not last and could contaminate your food.

How to use your charcoal insert

Your charcoal insert slides under the diffuser of your grill top. It allows you to cook with lump charcoal. The charcoal insert can not be used directly with the rocket stove.

Is your grill top not fitting properly?

If your grill top is not fitting correctly, the tabs may have gotten slightly bent during shipping or may have expanded or contracted after use. To fix this, gently hammer the tabs outward to realign them. This small adjustment will help your grill top fit more securely and function properly.
